I have just got back from the polling station to cast my vote. The redrawing of ward boundaries meant that I had a different polling place this time round, All Saints Church in Grove Road instead of May Park Primary School, as in previous elections. I'm not sure whether this had anything to do with the fact that the polling station seemed a lot busier than before. Usually when I vote, it feels like I have the place to myself, but this time, I had to queue at the actual voting booths. Hopefully, this is a sign of high turnout. We'll find out on Sunday how many of those votes are for me, or more accurately, for the Wessex Regionalists.
